Quick FAQs

What is Clubhouse Golf Academy?

Clubhouse Golf Academy is for adults of all skill levels—from brand new golfers to experienced players looking to sharpen specific areas of their game. Whether you prefer a social group environment or one-on-one instruction, we have a program that fits.

How much do lessons cost?

Lesson rates can vary by instructor and the number of students taking a lesson at the same time. For the most comprehensive look at pricing, please click here.

It’s my first lesson, what should I wear?

Athletic clothing of any kind is acceptable. This includes joggers/leggings, breathable tee shirts, running shoes, and a hat (if you wish). You’re more than welcome to wear golf clothes (collared shirt, slacks, golf skirts/shorts, golf shoes, etc.) however it is not a requirement by any means.

Please don’t wear flip-flops, cowboy/work boots or muscle shirts.

Do I need to bring my own clubs?

No! We have clubs available for you to use. However, if you have your own clubs, you’re encouraged to bring them.

What is an Adult Bootcamp?

Adult Boot Camps are structured, multi-week group programs designed to improve your game in a fun, social environment. Each session blends instruction, practice, and real feedback—without feeling overwhelming.

Who are Bootcamps best suited for?

Bootcamps are ideal for:

  • New golfers looking to build confidence

  • Casual golfers who want consistency

  • Players who enjoy learning in a group setting

  • Anyone who values instruction and atmosphere

Can I sign up for a Bootcamp alone?

Absolutely. Many participants come solo and leave with new golf buddies.

Do I need a full set of clubs?

Nope. If you’re a first-timer, all you really need is a short iron such as a seven or eight iron to get you started.

If you’re an experienced golfer, discuss which clubs you’d like to work on and develop a game plan for your lesson. That could eliminate the need to bring your entire bag.

What is your cancellation policy?

Policies vary by program type and instructor. Full details are provided at the time of booking.

Do I need a golf glove?

No, however as you gain more and more experience, you may feel the need to wear a glove. Right-handed golfers (the club is swung from right to left) should wear a glove on their left hand, and vice versa for left-handed golfers. Psst… we sell golf gloves in mens, ladies, and junior sizes!

Where are you located?

Throughout the fall/winter, we teach out of the Ramada Golf Dome, attached to the Ramada on Idylwyld Drive in Saskatoon. Spring and summer lessons take place at The Willows Golf Club, located in the south end of Saskatoon.
